AGM Partner Michael I. Binetti is proud to serve as Program Chair for the OBA Advertising and Marketing Law program hosted by the Ontario Bar Association on October 9, 2025, in Toronto.

As Program Chair alongside Janine MacNeil of McMillan LLP, Michael will help lead this essential annual event and will present on key developments in advertising and marketing law. He joins an exceptional faculty of leading practitioners and industry experts.

The OBA Advertising and Marketing Law program offers a comprehensive update on the latest legal developments, compliance strategies, and regulatory trends affecting advertising and marketing in Canada. The program equips practitioners with the expertise to advise clients on effective advertising and marketing strategies while navigating complex legislative and regulatory frameworks.

In addition, the program will feature a keynote address by Josephine Palumbo, Deputy Commissioner of Competition at the Competition Bureau Canada, and sessions covering emerging issues such as private enforcement provisions (effective as of June 2025), environmental advertising obligations, and the rise of “Maple Washing” trends in Canadian marketing.
