Her litigation practice includes shareholder disputes, commercial real estate litigation, professional negligence, and fraud matters. She has appeared as lead counsel at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal. Beyond her practice, Hilary leads meaningful civil justice reform initiatives. Currently serving as President of The Advocates’ Society, she previously chaired the Standing Committee on Advocacy and Policy and led the task force that authored Delay No Longer, The Advocates’ Society’s comprehensive call for action addressing systemic delay in Ontario’s civil justice system.
Michael Binetti, as Managing Partner, brings extensive litigation experience across trials, appeals, and diverse practice areas. He is recognized in Lexpert 2025 as Repeatedly Recommended for Competition Law. His practice spans competition law, professional negligence, and corporate commercial disputes. Michael is a Director of the Toronto Lawyers’ Association and active with the Canadian Bar Association’s Competition Law Section.
Kenneth Dekker, a successful trial and appellate lawyer, is recognized in Lexpert as Repeatedly Recommended for Securities Litigation. Over more than two decades, Ken has litigated noteworthy cases in a range of fields that include class action defence, securities and broker-dealer litigation, regulatory defence, corporate and shareholder disputes (including oppression and winding up cases), defamation, and civil fraud litigation. He has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, as well as before the Supreme Court of Canada. Ken also represents and advises clients in regulatory matters before the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC).
John F. Rook KC, Senior Counsel — recognized in the Lexpert Special Edition: Litigation 2025. John’s practice spans competition and antitrust litigation, with more than five decades of experience in complex regulatory and commercial advocacy before the courts and the Competition Tribunal.
