Affleck Greene McMurtry LLP is pleased to announce that Canadian Lawyer has named the firm one of the Top 10 Litigation Law Boutiques in Eastern Canada in its 2026 Top Litigation Law Boutiques report. This is the first time AGM has been recognized in the report, now in its eighth cycle.

Canadian Lawyer’s survey drew 473 votes across 57 nominated firms from lawyers, in-house counsel and clients between April and June 2026. To be considered, a firm had to earn most of its business from litigation. The final results combined the votes, where applicable, with Lexpert peer survey results, input from senior members of the bar, and regional diversity considerations.

In its write-up, Canadian Lawyer points to AGM’s combination of senior-level depth and boutique focus, along with the firm’s directory recognition in competition, corporate and construction litigation. One survey respondent said AGM offers “the strategic firepower of a top-tier litigation shop” without the layers of a large full-service firm.
