Michael Binetti to Moderate Cross-Border Marketing Enforcement Teleconference

Michael Binetti, of Affleck Greene McMurtry LLP, will moderate an upcoming panel Cross-Border Update with the Enforcers: Recent Marketing Enforcement Trends in the US, the UK and Canada. This joint teleconference is hosted by the Marketing Practices Committee of the Canadian Bar Association Competition Law Section and the Consumer Protection Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law. The teleconference is scheduled for May 22, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST.

This annual program has been expanded to provide an update on significant areas of enforcement in the US, Canada and, for this year, the UK. Representatives from the US Federal Trade Commission, the UK Competition and Markets Authority, and the Canadian Competition Bureau will discuss current consumer protection issues and compare and contrast enforcement approaches.
